Star Inserts

Star inserts promote in-tube heat transfer enhancement by the following mechanisms:

   - Reduced flow area increases velocity and coefficient,

   - Cross section breaks the circular flow pattern issues found in laminar flows,

   - Provides internal surface area increase with tube inside diameter contact.

Four point fabricated titanium for 5/8" [15.88] OD x 0.035" [0.89] wall.

Five point extruded aluminum for 3/4" [19.05] OD x 0.049" [1.24] wall.

Fourteen point extruded aluminum for 5/8" [15.88] OD x 0.035" [0.89] wall.
